Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   Stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed. The pool was clean and heated. Beds were supercomfy. The room was clean and tidy and soundproof which is great ! Staff is very friendly. Very nice place and I would like to return. It's good value for money.

Review:   Lovely hotel but a little bit old. Our bathroom door knob just popped out. Beds are very soft. Besides that, nothing much to complain about.

Review:   Tired, and worn. This place is getting renovated and I can see why. Not busy when I was there, so lacking some atmosphere and eating in was a quiet affair. Continental breakfast wasn't too pricey, but the meats and cheeses weren't fresh. Staff good. Maybe once the renovation is complete I'll come back.

Review:   The staff are fantastic and the reception and bar area are nice in an old fashioned, dark wood pannel style. The rooms are clean, there is free WiFi and air conditioning, but the rooms decor is very dated and needs a bit of a refresh. I also hate that you book and pay for a room but when you arrive, they want to swipe your credit card. No credit card, no problem, they just take $150 off your debit card. Of course it gets refunded when you leave, but all the time it's not in my account, it's not paying off my mortgage. I don't experience this practice very often now, but it's very outdated and I also find it a little offensive too.

Review:   I was so disappointed. The rooms are stinky, dark and just so old. The floors are almost scary dark and it’s just no nice atmosphere. The hotel needs a renew.
