Pros: This Resort is very beautiful. It sits on it's own private Beach with all rooms having an ocean view. You will not have people soliciting you on the beach. The price includes all your food and drinks, some snorkeling, hobe cats, Kayaks, nightly entertainment. .

Cons: The resort is several hours from the airport and in a remote but beautiful location.

Review:   Recommended for: Couples, Honeymooners, Weddings

Pros: That staff at the resort are fantastic. The food offers are varied and unique- even the buffet. With three sections, Italian, Dutch and French, this resort gives guests a range of accommodations and areas for quiet relaxation as well as fun. All rooms and suites have a view of the gorgeous beach from the patio or balcony and the magnificent mountains from the back door. Guests can book the entry level room and know that they will have a wonderful ocean view every day. Must tries at this resort- pizza (in a brick oven), all the restaurants, the French Cafe, Mojitos, and the Piano Bar.

Cons: None.

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   My husband and I travelled to South Coast for our anniversary. This was our third trip to Sandals and sadly we won’t be coming back to to this one. We stayed in a walkout beach club level room in the Italian village and the concierge service was awful. We had to call daily sometimes twice to get our fridge restocked with water and champagne. We had questions about excursions but when we asked they gave us the wrong days so we missed out and when we questioned her about it she just shrugged and said she couldn’t help us but she could put our room number in a song...really?. A few of the bartenders were rude and made you know they didn’t want to help you or wanted to be there. Didn’t give you what you asked for. Dinner reservations weren’t required so the night we went to Jasmines the place was half empty but were told by the rude hostess they had no openings and were full because the empty tables were for Butler suites and when we got seated in the “non important” section we had no service until the manager noticed and he ended up serving us and the whole time we were there only 2 butler tables were seated. Lots off bees at the main pool got stung reading a book. Was very disappointed with this resort and will not recommend it.

Review:   The resort had so many fun amenities and activities that were all included in the price. The grounds were clean and beautiful. There were several great restaurants to choose from which all had great food choices. Being Vegan I never had to worry about eating options. The staff would alert the chef who always created something that would work for me. The staff was friendly and so accommodating to every request. They consistently went above and beyond my expectations. I went with 60 people for a Pickleball tournament. The resort gladly converted several tennis courts for our use. We had a fantastic time and will definitely come again.

Review:   My husband and I spent a week here for our honeymoon and had a fantastic time! He got sick while we were there, and the staff was amazing. They called in to check on him, made sure we saw the nurse, and brought soup and tea up to his room while I was out and about. The food was great, the drinks were as strong as you'd like them to be, and the I just cannot say enough nice things about the staff. One of the entertainment staff members, Doblin (the Fresh Prince of Sandals) especially stood out as he brought a great vibe to the main pool and events. This resort is definitely for the laid back, and not a party resort, which is how i like it. If you're looking for a party resort, I'd look elsewhere as there was very little nightlife, but if you just want to relax and enjoy yourself, this is the place. I would definitely go back, and I will definitely be looking into another vacation with Sandals.
