Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   A nice quiet apartment style hotel which is about ten minutes walk away from the city centre on Marine Parade. Fabulous views across the ocean and beach. Rooms are clean and modern if a little basic but the spa bath is a real treat! Simple but wholesome breakfast with great coffee, staff are friendly and helpful. Could do with a few more parking spaces but plenty of on street parking areas so no real problem. Wireless internet signal was weak in my room, even in other areas where the signal was stronger the speed wasn't much to write home about.

Review:   Clean room and good location. Only drawback is if you need quiet to sleep this probably not ideal for you as the room is right next to Marine Parade and at times can be noisy with container trucks passing by towards port.

Review:   Always a great place to stay, the rooms are well appointed and have ample parking for cars both on the road in front and out the back. The only odd thing is having a spa bath in the main room.

Review:   Very Rude staff in Kitchen. Took 30 minutes to make an Omlette & ran out of ingredients @ 9 am. Extremely noisy location as 22 wheeler trucks pass 5 feet from window ( which is not hotel's fault more so city councils fault fir allowing trucks ), neverthless it's a very loud experience & frequently get awoken during sleep due to noise levels. Also wifi is extremely poor, it can take 5 plus minutez to load a news website
