About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Review:   One of the best resorts in Hawaii. We were greeted with necklace made of shells, another person brought drink immediately. We requested baby crib and 10 min later it was in our room. The hotel has several pools, play ground, access to beach, spa you name it. Expect to pay at least $250/ per couple in a restaurant. Overall a great place for vacation in Maui.

Review:   BEAUTIFUL RESORT — We love visiting the Ritz-Carlton Kapalua. Beautifully manicured grounds, professional and friendly staff, and great amenities. The lobby is very impressive, especially for someone’s first visit. Pools are warm and lots of seating available. The beach is great with lots of space for everyone and large waves to swim in. Tennis and basketball courts available and very well maintained. Can’t wait to return next year!!

Review:   The Ritz, enough said! Place is amazing, as we would expect. Staff and service are both outstanding. The staff makes you feel like you are their only guest. Rooms are clean and lavish. Amenities are excellent. Prices are steep, but expected as well. Overall, place makes you feel like a king!

Review:   Just doesn't live up to the "Ritz" standard I am used to. Pool service is not good at all. They promise a bunch of things at check-in for kids they never delivered on. Rooms are pretty basic. Seems like they try to cut a lot of corners at this particular property. Beautiful views though.

Review:   Really nice service staff throughout the resort. Valet parking always a quick phone call away. Evening house keeping team brings water, chocolate, new towel and nice notes on Hawaiian/Polynesia culture. One evening we cooked a simple dinner in the room and called the room service team to bring some condiments. I was delighted to get an assortment of salt, black pepper, soy sauce, vinegar and Tabasco, in less than 5 minutes. The kids program was nice too. It has a natural/environment theme that takes kids to the beach searching for all kinds of fun creatures. Much better than those in other resorts where kids are locked in a small room with a small pool. One reason that I couldn’t give 5 stars was my son woke up at 5:30 one morning and found a cock roach in the bathroom. We killed it and threw it in the toilet, which plugged up. Had to call room service. Fortunately a team member came right away and cleared it timely.
