Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   Excellent staff service and food. Centrally located and the you're bound to run into the manager who ensures everyone is taken care of. Family friendly, though you might wanna find a way into the adult pool section if you like peace and quiet. Many restaurants to choose from. Clean rooms with all amenities.

Review:   A large 5 star hotel on Denarau Island it has French flair and orientated menu. Consisting of 2 large wings with a variety of rooms to suit most needs and budgets. There is also an Adults only section with its own pool and bar. The main pool is large with lots of lounge chairs and umbrellas. Beachfront has numerous hammocks and chairs under lots of shady trees. The Lagoon restaurant is buffet for all meals , Salt is a contemporary casual restaurant, La Parisienne is a French styled cafe and V is a more formal restaurant. Only a 15 minute walk to Port Denarau for more shopping and eating options. Suitable for families and couples. Very nice and friendly. Recommended

Review:   If you are visiting Sofitel as a couple, I'd highly recommend the Waitui Adults Only VIP Beach Club for some peace and quiet. Children are the future, but sometimes you just want that silence whilst on holiday. You should expect everything from a Sofitel and more at this grand location in Denerau. Highly recommended.

Review:   In essence a standard Denarau hotel. Nicely appointed grounds, friendly staff. Rooms are a little tired looking. Hotel has not been upgraded in past 10 years. You will find little in terms convenient power sockets to charge phones etc but the radio does have original iPod dock connector 😉 During busy times it gets really busy, you'll be lucky to get space for breakfast without waiting. If you're traveling with kids it's great as pools are fantastic and staff cater for all kid needs. If you're an adult after peace and quiet pay extra for the beach club.
