Overview

What better place to experience the dramatic splendour of this South
Seas fantasy island than from an overwater, or garden bungalow,
at this romantic resort. The resort is set amidst abundant tropical
gardens and rimmed by a white sandy beach and a brilliant ten-acre lagoon, teeming with friendly tropical fish, a gentle water playground for guests.

Sample Polynesian and international cuisine, alternating between buffets, à la carte and themed menus, from the elegant restaurant, which offers stunning views of the lagoon and features Polynesian shows, local orchestras and international entertainment.

Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   As mentioned repeatedly, this is an absolutely perfect place for a honeymoon. The wife and I stayed in a panoramic bungalow and the views were sublime. Overall, the resort gets top marks. The staff were wonderful and accommodating, the facilities are excellent, and the experience is amazing! Wake up each day, enjoy some breakfast, snorkel, soak up some sun, and just enjoy life. The staff are also very helpful to setup excursions, taxis, or cars(we highly recommend swimming with dolphins down at the Intercontinental)!

Review:   Resort is small, but still amazing! Stayed in an overwater bungalow that had a glass floor. Lots of fish in the coral reef and great view of sunrise nearby. Service was wonderful and having gold status is a must for the free breakfast, free re-stocking of drinks in mini-fridge and 20% off tapas. Definitely should check out the crepes place for food and view of sharks and rays below.

Review:   Great hotel with friendly staff. The over water bungalows are great for snorkelling from. There's a huge coral garden right out front that covers hectares and hectares. It's all just standing height deep (unless you are short haha) so it's a perfect snorkelling slot for beginners. The water is crystal clear and calm so you can kayak and stand up paddle board, but stand up paddle boarding although super hot and fashionable right now, seems like a very inefficient way to get around.

Review:   Great location near the entrance to Cook's Bay. Food and drink prices are high, though, and you can't drink the tap water. Bottled water in the restaurants is $5.50, but they do put two small bottles in your room each day, along with some soft drinks and beer. Reef sharks gather every evening underneath the crepe restaurant, and it's a hoot to observe the reactions of guests watching them.
