Overview

On the southern most tip of the Island of Huahine (between Tahiti and Bora Bora), in the heart of the Avea bay, lies the Relais Mahana.

Imagine: you wake up in a tropical garden, a step away from the fine white sand beach, while sipping your favorite cocktail on the terrace of one of the 32 Polynesian style bungalows.

At the Relais Mahana, the Avea bar and the Te Nahe Restaurant titillate your taste buds with the Polynesian specialties or a more traditional fare.

A number of ground or aquatic excursions are available to add spice to your sojourn and also to optimize discovering the Island. If you hope to meet the rays, you are in the right place.

Huahine is positioned in the Society Islands archipelago and is 50 kilometers from Bora Bora and 175 kilometers from Tahiti. From Papeete, the capital of Tahiti, one can reach Huahine by inter island commercial flights or by boat.

Steeped in a very strong history and antiquated culture (Huahine shelters some of the most rare and fascinating archaeological sites of Polynesia called "Marae"), this Island is truly a little Paradise and a haven of peace lulled by Polynesian rhythms.

Therefore being in a unique setting, beside the Parea village renowned for its panoramas and surf spots, nestles the Relais Mahana: in the heart of the Avea bay, beside a beautiful white sand beach where the hotel boasts a coral garden invested with multi-colored fishes, and, at sunset from the hotel dock one can appreciate the Island of Raiatea shrouded in artists reds which are then reflected in the clear lagoon.
