Board the magnificent classic schooner Seaspray (of television fame) for a day exploring the crystal clear waters, beautiful beaches and lagoons of the Mamanuca Islands.

This 83 foot schooner offers stable and comfortable sailing to maximise your onboard comfort and enjoyment. Help set the sails, take the helm or just laze around on deck.

We anchor off Modriki where you can go ashore to explore this uninhabited island with magnificent beaches and snorkelling. On Yanuya we visit a traditional Fijian island village. You'll be welcomed
ashore with a Kava ceremony (except Sunday) then have the chance to explore the village and meet the locals.

Passengers travel to and from Mana Island onboard our fast catamaran (where you transfer directly to Seaspray) so as to maximise the sailing time amongst the most beautiful island areas.

Nothing like a day at sea for a big appetite so we include morning and afternoon tea plus a delicious barbecue lunch. All your drinks are included as well with wine, beer, soft drinks, tea and coffee available throughout the day whilst on Seaspray.

While visiting the village you're free to walk around at your own leisure. They ask that the following customs be observed:

* Do not wear a hat in the village including caps, visors etc. Only the chief has the right to wear a hat in a Fijian Village.
* Dress modestly when in the village. When on the beach swimsuits including bikinis are acceptable.

South Sea Cruises day cruise portfolio features full and half day cruises and a range of fantastic lunch options to a variety of stunning Mamanuca Island Resorts including Bounty, Castaway, Treasure, Mana, Amanuca, Malolo and our very own South Sea Island. A Twin Island and Combo Cruise is also available as are day cruises to the remote Yasawa Islands Group. All day cruises offer unique features and a selection of exciting activities.

In the past 12 years South Sea Cruises has introduced many improvements, new products and a higher quality of service. South Sea Cruises is also the winner of three categories at the Bula Fiji Tourism Exchange Awards in 2007 and the winner of one category in 2008.

South Sea Cruises is a member of Marine Tourism Holdings, the parent company of successful businesses Cruise Whitsundays and Awesome Adventures Oz in Australia and Awesome Adventures Fiji.
