Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   A first-class hotel, throughout. The staff are obliging and friendly, and the restaurant is superb. The direct connection to the shopping mall, as well as other nearby attractions, make this an excellent choice for a stay in Johannesburg.

Review:   Didn't stay here, came only for the high tea. You have to book and pay in advance because they prepare the food for you on the day. There's sow thing to arriving at a place that's expecting you, be served delicious treats and then leaving at your leisure never having to reach for your wallet. The teas, the scones, jams, sandwiches, and pastries were delightfully divine. Well worth the money and then moment I have even a minor reason to go again I will. Of course it's not good for your waistline but the best things never are.
