There's also everything in between from fresh fruit to traditional eggs benedict.

Hemingway's is equally irresistible for lunch, serving an array of gourmet sandwiches, entrée salads and specialties such as soft fish tacos, mango shrimp salad and Caribbean jerk chicken & chips. Sweet tooths will be tempted with choices ranging from key lime pie with a graham cracker crust to fried ice-cream with cinnamon powdered sugar and chocolate sauce.

A dinner favorite is the fresh grouper - lightly spiced and pan seared, served with a tequila sauced veggie salsa with charred onions, black beans, corn, carrots and red and green peppers. For another seafood choice, try the exquisite lightly sauteed shrimp with delicious pesto cream over penne pasta. For the gourmet palate, try the filet mignon grilled with a fragrant red wine mushroom sauce. Also ask your server about the Catch of the Day.

Delicious appetizers include Conch (pronounced "conk") fritters, Conch chowder, and Cuban black bean soup.

The Turks and Caicos are home to one of the longest barrier reefs in the world - it's over 125 miles long, and protects the north shore of the island of Providenciales. The barrier reef is and an ideal spot to observe humpback whales, and with underwater visibility exceeding 100 feet in most locations, the coral reefs, sea mounts and sea walls that surround the islands are perfect for encountering schools of tropical fish, sea turtles, eagle rays and even sharks.

The Turks and Caicos is a mecca for watersport. High-quality equipment is easy to rent here, especially when staying at a resort, and it's also possible to arrange for lessons, even if you're a beginner looking to learn the basics, or an accomplished master wanting to take it to the next level.

For some, golf is a way of life. There's no need to leave the links behind when you travel to the Turks and Caicos. Instead, you can look forward to playing on one of the top ten 18-hole golf courses in the Caribbean. The natural limestone outcroppings, carpeted in unique prickly pear cactus and scrub foliage make for a memorable experience. Try some golf-oriented shopping therapy at the clubhouse, and finish up your day with a drink followed by dinner on a terrace overlooking the golf course and the setting Caribbean sun.

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Review:   The rooms were nice. The staff was very courteous, nice and helpful. From booking a rental car to recommending local shops/restaraunts the staff called for us to make sure the bookings were correct. Overall the staff at the front desk and wait staff at the restaurant made it very easy for me to feel like i was on vacation. The field staff at the beach/pool were equally polite and helpful. The grounds from our room to the beach were very beautiful and relaxing. The only thing is that the cleaning staff need to mop/sweep the floors better because I could feel that the floors were gritty and my feet were black from walking barefoot. Also, whatever towels they take they need to replace.

Review:   We have stayed at the Sands many times. But this time our accommodations were unsatisfactory quite poor. We love the people there, the island is sacred, but we came into a room with multiple problems... The room was not inspected before our arrival. And just was Not good. I hope the Sands is not failing since we love the people there and they work very hard. There are many hotels on this Island and I hope ownership takes a close look at our disappointment in their facility. Go back to the Island yes. We will explore other accommodations unles we can trust Sands to be professionally ready truthful and proactive....

Review:   Beautiful property, we visited several weeks after the hurricane hit 10/17-10/24. The palm trees were all damaged but the grounds/pools looked overall very nice. Our screen on our screened in porch was missing (totally expected). But no one came to fix the week we were there. I would give it a 5 star rating, but our cable/satellite did not work in our master for 4/7 days we were there. After repeated attempts to report that to the front desk, they finally fixed it. The phone lines in the rooms also did not work and WiFi was spotty at best. It is quite possible that these issues were caused from the hurricane but a small explanation would have gone a long way as well as a discount or something. The staff at the beach hut were VERY helpful and friendly!!! Ira and Eddy are awesome! Can’t say enough good things about the entire crew down there.

Review:   Checking out today (10-18-2017) nothing but professional service. The staff from the gardener to the maids to everyone that keeps this place going have been soooo courteous during the entire trip. The resort is in great condition. The rooms were air conditioned. Fully stocked with coffee, creamer, and sugar. Even a blender so we could make our own cocktails from liquor and juice bought at the store just up the road. The pools were immaculate and crystal clear. The beach was pristine and the restaurant had delicious meals. Our decision to book was with the stay 7, pay for 5 day offer. Made the trip very affordable for a couple of working honeymooners. The trees are growing back nicely after 2 major hurricanes less than 3 weeks ago. You can hardly tell they ever hit. The beach house/towel service was fantastic. Offering free sunscreen and after sun lotion. Towels for the beach and even cleaning a conch shell we got while on the snorkeling cruise for free! Don't hesitate for a Minute, stay at the Sands of Grace bay. This is our 1st trip to the island from Connecticut and will definitely book here again. To the person that rated 1 star you obviously need to open your eyes and stop expecting the world to bow to your beck and call. We had none of that experience here. Thank you Sands if Grace Bay staff! Matt & Lisa, Connecticut
