You will be picked up from your accommodation venue and meet your driver/guide. We then take a short drive out to New Zealand's largest active mud pool, then onto the colourful geothermal park of Wai-O-Tapu. Your guide will explain all aspects of the area including...

On to the punctual Geyser, Lady Knox. View and learn about geysers in New Zealand.

Overview
We are an award winning, fully licensed tour guiding service based out of Rotorua. Our company has been operating now for over ten years and our guides have many years of experience guiding international visitors around our unique environment. We will ensure a safe, comfortable and informative insight of New Zealand's ecology and culture. Elite Adventures has acquired a Government standard of excellence (Qualmark accreditation) and we pride ourselves in customer satisfaction. To support the environment in which we operate we support several conservation efforts - Save the Kiwi fund and Mt Ngongotaha Bush Restoration Trust. We are also active members of the tourism sustainability group.
Elite Adventures' guides have indepth knowledge about the flora, fauna, thermal and volcanic activity and also our Maori culture.
Huru Perru Te Rangipuawhe Maika joined the Elite team in September 2009. He brings with him years of guiding/entertaining experience in the tourism industry. Huru started his colourful career as a young guide at Whakarewarewa Thermal Village where is Hapu, Tuhourangi live. He has also worked at the Buried Village and Te Puia as well as performing in the Maori concerts for many hotels and cultural attractions.
