Jamaica Inn

Classic old-world luxury, this is a wonderful boutique resort with beautiful rooms and grounds and a terrific location.

Round Hill Hotel and Villas

This property combines traditional hotel rooms with gorgeous villas--most with their own pools. The beach is protected for easy snorkeling for beginners and children. The restaurant overlooks the protected cove. It's quiet, uncrowded, and beautiful.

The location is terrific, maybe 20 minutes from the airport in Montego Bay, yet you don't feel like you're anywhere near the town.

Goldeneye

This is where Ian Fleming wrote James Bond books. Very beautifully designed, uncrowded, with only 21 rooms. Two pools, a gorgeous spa, and tons of things to do on-site. Recently underwent a $50 million renovation.

It's expensive, but it's also a far cry from the giant all-inclusives. Think of it this way: with 52 acres, there's more than 2 acres per guest room :-).

The Caves

Great location (Negril), and spectacular and quirky layout, especially the restaurant in the caves overlooking the ocean.

10 acres, all-inclusive, with only 12 rooms/cottages.

Hard to get much cooler and unique than this!
